CPC Meeting Minutes 09/22/2004
September 22, 2004

Meeting was called to order at 7:10 pm

PRESENT:        W. Sayre, R. Buchele, K. Karowski, D. Jacobson

  • Bruce Tolda has resigned from this committee and Sayre will follow up to make sure a letter of resignation has been forwarded to the  Select Board.
  • Karowski reviewed the current status of the High School bond indicating that the state will come forward to pay all of it’s obligation on the outstanding bond this year and that the share that Williamsburg has paid for the state will be reimbursed.  This will relieve the town of having to pay the state’s share in the immediate future and as a result will free up money for other capital projects. Karowski will get the actual numbers for the next meeting.
  • A 2000 Ford Explorer Fire Chief’s vehicle has been purchased, painted and is in service.
  • A new fire pumper will be requested at the next annual Town Meeting.
  • Committee reviewed letter from Attorney General’s Office that approved of the recent by-law changes for this committee.  Sayre will provide a full copy to each member.  Karowski will check with the Town Clerk about the due date of capital requests in the letter.
  • Next meeting set for October 5, 7:00 pm
  • Motion to adjourn by Buchele, seconded by Jacobson, vote unanimous at 7:50 pm.
