FARMER COFFEE - Agricultural Commission

The Williamsburg Agricultural Commission is hosting a Farmer Coffee on Saturday, February 8, 2014 from 10 to 11:30 AM at Town Offices in Haydenville for all commercial and recreational farmers and foresters in town.  The Farmer Coffee will provide: an opportunity to reconnect with families who have been farming in Williamsburg for generations and also to meet some of the newer farmers in town, a chance to meet current members of the Williamsburg Agricultural Commission, hear a brief presentation about their current projects, and learn about the new Right-to-Farm signage to be posted in town, and hear about current issues facing farmers in town, farm related problems, farmland protection concerns, and how the commission can better promote and advocate for farmers, foresters, farm businesses, and their interests.  Coffee, tea, cider, and baked goods will be served. To learn more about the work of the Williamsburg Agricultural Commission, the town Right-to-Farm Bylaw, or to see a calendar of upcoming town agricultural events, please visit their new website at:
