** T-Ball registration is now open for children Pre-K (turning 4 by 9/1/2011) through 2nd grade. T-Ball will take place on Thursdays, 6:00-7:30, May 5-June 16 at Ames Field in Haydenville. Please complete the Registration Form by April 1, 2011. See http://burgyrec.blogspot.com for more details.

*The Recreation Commission will sponsor a "Soccer Week" this summer, Monday, July 25-Friday, July 29. Hours are likely to be 8:00-12:30. Children must be entering Kindergarten through 6th grade in the fall of 2011 to participate. The activties will be led by an adult supervisor as well as high school student assistants. Further details will be announced soon. The fee is $75 per child with discounts available for families with multiple children. Financial assistance is also available.
* The Recreation Commission is also sponsoring a "Summer Theater Week" Monday, July 18-Friday, July 22, for children entering Kindergarten through 8th grade. Hours will be 8:00-3:30, and at the end of the week the students will perform in the musical, Charlotte's Web, with a free community performance. The activities will be led by two adults as well as high school student assistants. The fee is $150-$175 per child (depending on enrollment) with discounts available for families with multiple children. Financial assistance is also available.
